She married John G. King on Aug. 2, 1947 at St. John's Church in Pulaski.
She was a teacher at schools in Adams and was a business teacher at Potsdam Central School and with the St. Lawrence- Lewis Board of Cooperative Educational Services, Norwood, until her retirement in 1983.
Surviving was her husband; a son, John G., Syracuse; five daughters, Mrs. George (Patricia) Reschetnikow, Clark Mills, Mrs. Donald (Susan) Saber, Potsdam, Mrs. Michael (Joan) Schroeder, Tampa, Fla., Mrs. Joseph (Theresa) Carrozzoni, Rome, and Mrs. Bruce (Janice) Zagorniak, Libertyville, Ill.; a brother, Francis Murtha , Katonah and 11 grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
A brother, Robert Murtha, and four sisters, Rosemary Donovan, Helen Fitzgibbons, Anne Switzer and Roberta Anderson, died before her.
