Charlyne Rose Scheinost, 83, of Scottsbluff, formerly of Lyman passed away Sunday, Jan. 27, 2013, at Regional West Medical Center. As per Charlyne's request cremation has taken place.

A funeral mass will be held at 10:30 a.m. Friday, Feb. 1, at St. Agnes Catholic Church with Father Vince Parsons officiating.

The Rosary will be recited Thursday, Jan. 31, at St. Agnes at 6 p.m.

Memorials can be made to St. Agnes Church. Tributes of sympathy maybe left at www.dugankramer.com.

Charlyne was born Oct. 5, 1929 in Spencer, Neb. to John and Rose (Panek) Adams. She received her education in Spencer Public Schools. After high school she attended Capital Beauty School in Lincoln and graduated in 1946.

Charlyne married Charles Scheinost Sept. 5, 1949 in Spencer. The couple made their home in Spencer until they moved to Lyman, in 1951. Together they owned and operated the Lyman Theater for 15 years. Charlyne drove the school bus for the Lyman Public Schools for 12 years. Her passion in life was fishing and camping with her beloved husband. After her husband passed away in 1998 she moved to Scottsbluff and later the Residency.

Charlyne was a member of St. Agnes Catholic Church and most enjoyed her prayer time with Sister Vera.

Survivors include her son and daughter-in-law, Jeffrey and Cindy Scheinost of Scottsbluff; granddaughter, MaryKate Scheinost of Papillion, Neb.; niece and God child, Jacalyn (Ken) Eis of Ft. Collins, Colo.; brother-in-law, Bill Scheinost of O'Neill, Neb.; sister-in-law, LaVern Adams and nephew, John Adams, both of Sumner, Wash.

Preceding Charlyne in death are her parents, John and Rose Adams; husband, Charles; infant daughter, Vallory; sister, Aileen; and brothers, Jack and Louis Adams.
