Lavada Eugenia Campbell, 93, of Franklin, passed away Sunday, Nov. 21, 2004.

A native of Macon County, she was the daughter of the late Walter and Fannie Mashburn Angel. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Charles Lester Campbell, who died in 1959, and two sons, Clinton Campbell and Jim Campbell. She worked many years at Van Raalte and was a member of Iotla Baptist Church.

She is survived by two daughters, Ella Vee Woodard of Senaca, S.C., and Lucille Allen of Franklin; one son, Charles Campbell of Franklin; one sister, Edna Campbell of Franklin; eight grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; and a number of nieces and nephews.

Funeral services were held Wednesday, Nov. 24, at 2 p.m. in the Chapel of Macon Funeral Home. Rev. Steve Reeves officiated.
Burial was in the Iotla Baptist Church Cemetery.
Pallbearers were Gary Woodard, Brian Woodard, Ronnie Campbell, Steve Allen, Tony Allen, John Hoyle and Bobby Roper.
The family received friends from 1 to 2 p.m. prior to the service at the funeral home.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Iotla Baptist Church Cemetery Fund, c/o Cynthia Rowland, 886 Younce Creek Rd., Franklin, NC 28734, or IOtla Baptist Church Building Fund, 1537 Iotla Church Rd., Franklin, NC 28734.
