Mike was born in Austria. Where he was born is now part of Italy. The town is Cles.
Mike and Flora had five children, Flora Mary, John Henry, Jeanette Marie, Jeanne Frances and Diana Elizabeth. Jeanette and Jeanne are twins. Mike and Flora lived in Huntington Park, California before moving to Paramount, California. They lived there while raising their five children. Then in 1965 they moved to Anaheim, California. Mike worked for Wallace China in Huntington Park making dishes. He worked for Pacific Tile Company in Paramount,CA, making tile. He retired from Pacific Tile. Mike went to work for Zamboni brothers in Paramount at their Ice Skating Rink. He sharpened skate blades, handed out the rental skates and did general maintenance. Most skating rinks have a Zamboni to resurface the ice.

I first Mike when I was introduce to one of his beautiful daughters. I was 19 and she was 16. I was home on leave from the Navy. We dated a couple of times and fell in love before my leave was up. She waited for me to come back home and we married in 1951. I'm still in love with her after 64 years.
