MARION, Va. Ralph E. Robertson, 85, passed away Friday, November 22, 2013, at the Francis Marion Manor. He was born in Mt. Hope, W.Va. to the late Amos B Robertson and Inez Pennington Robertson and was preceded in death by a brother, Billie Alvin Robertson. He was a Veteran of U.S. Army services in Europe (Germany) and a retired truck driver for Harwood Corporation after 44 years. Ralph was a lifetime member of the Francis Marion VFW Post 4667 and attended Lowman Valley Church until his health problems overcame him. Survivors include his wife, Jackie Robertson of the home; daughter and son in law, Pam and Paul Williams of Marion; son and daughter in law, Tim and Amy Robertson of Chilhowie, Va.; grandchildren, Jason Woods and Colleen Macner of Alexandria, Va., Bailey and Tucker Robertson of Chilhowie, Va.,and Alicia and David Poston, Marion, Va.; special grandchild, Aaron Sage, Radford, Va.; great grandchildren, Caleb and Alexis Poston of Marion, Va.; sister, Gerri Odham of Tifton, Ga.; sister in law, Jeanette Gullion of Marion, Va.; many nieces and nephews; and very special friend, Cory Blevins. Special Thank You to the 2nd floor Staff of Francis Marion Manor for their love and care. Funeral services will be held 3 p.m. Sunday November 24, 2013, at the Bradley's Funeral Home with Pastor Mike Sage officiating. Interment will follow at Rose Lawn Cemetery with full Military Honors being rendered by the Francis Marion V.F.W. Post 4667. The family will receive friends Sunday from 2 until 3 p.m. at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to the Francis Marion V.F.W. Post 4667, P.O.
