Dale V. "Sparky" Adams, 55, of rural Elkhart Lake, died unexpectedly of natural causes on Thursday November 21, 2013 at his home. He was born on January 25, 1958 in Sheboygan, son of the late Arno & Kathleen (Schmitz) Adams. Dale was a 1976 graduate of Elkhart Lake High School. On May 6, 1989 he was united in marriage to Cheryl Delcore at St. George Catholic Church in Elkhart Lake. She preceded him in death on September 14, 2002. Dale had been employed at Lake to Lake in Kiel for more than 30 years until his medical condition caused him to retire early. In his free time he enjoyed being outdoors, especially hunting and bird watching. Survivors include his sister; Pat (Gerald) Schwarz, New Holstein, two brothers; Jerry (Heidi) Adams, Sheboygan, Dean (Sue) Adams, Elkhart Lake. He is further survived by 2 uncles; Wilbert Adams, New Holstein & Earl (Hilde) Adams, Colorado Springs, CO. along with numerous nieces, nephews other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents and his wife, Cheryl. Funeral Mass for Dale will be celebrated at 6:00pm on Tuesday, November 26, 2013 at SS Peter & Paul Catholic Church (413 Fremont St., Kiel) with Rev. Loren Nys S.D.S. officiating. Burial in the parish cemetery. Family and friends may call at the church on Tuesday from 4:30pm until the time of services.
