Enoch Bishop Coe, 68, father
of Sam and Lacy Coe, of Rich-
lands, died at St. Lukes Hospital
Sunday afternoon, following a
brief illness.
He was born in Smith (Smyth)
County, son of late John and
Martha Coe, also natives of
Smith (Smyth) County. He was
a tenant and blacksmith for
Sander's farm Bluefield, Vir-
ginia for the past nine years.
Survivors include his wife
the former Miss Alice Lee, two
sons, Sam and Lacy of Richlands,
one brother Noah Coe, Iaeger,
West Virginia and two grand
children.
The body remained at Hurst-
Scott Funeral Home, until
funeral hour 2:30 p.m. Tues-
day, held from Layman's Chapel
with Rev. Tommy Patrick officiat-
ing. Burial in Hankins cemetery.
