He passed away November 19, in Houston, TX after a courageous battle with cancer.
He had served as an undercover officer for Henderson County, a detective for Gun barrel City, was a police officer for Seven Points and was a self-employed truck driver. Tim loved his church family, was an active member of New Beginnings Baptist Church, in Kemp,loved the Lord and enjoyed sharing the gospel with others.
He is preceded in death by his father Leon Lynn, mother Lucy Stephenson, grandmother Lorene Stubbs.
Left to cherish his memory are his wife of 32 years Debbie Askew Lynn, son Justin Lynn, daughters Emily Lynn, Morgan Lynn, brothers Chris Lynn, Britt Lynn, sisters Deborah Townley, Donna Lynn, Patricia "Patsy" Lynn, numerous other family members, his church family and many friends.
Funeral services will be held 10:00 AM Saturday November 23, 2013 with Rev Frank Seizemore officiating. Burial will follow in the Oaklawn Cemetery in Mabank.
