From Albany First Church of the Nazarene records: In May, 1975, Ervin Barber, our building superintendent, began the construction [of the facilities on Liberty Expressway]. He supervised and worked many long, hot hours during the summer and fall. In November, 1975, Rev. Hawkins, our district contractor, came and helped us until the last of March, 1976.
