Mrs. Helen (MacLeod) Margaret Gill c1925-2007
Mrs. Helen Margaret Gill, widow of Clement Gill of 930 South Barnaby Road, Barnaby River NB, passed away Wednesday evening at Miramichi Regional Hospital, at the age of 82. Born in Nelson Miramichi, she was the daughter of the late Angus & Josephine (Swain) MacLeod.
She was a retired RN of Hotel Dieu Hospital. She was a member of Most Pure Heart of Mary Roman Catholic Church, Barnaby NB.
She is survived by four daughters; Sandra Alward (Charlie) of Barnaby River; Maura Lynch (Daryl) of Miramichi; Pauline Tucker (Lee) of Barnaby River; Beverly Coughlan (Danny) of Blackville; two sons; Michael Gill of Barnaby; John (Susie) Gill of Barnaby; 16 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren.
Besides her parents and her husband Clement in (2000), she was predeceased by one son Kevin Gill (1998); five brothers; Norbert, Bud, Archie, Urban & Terrance MacLeod; three sisters; Mary, Rita & Anna.
Mrs. Helen Margaret Gill will be resting at Most Pure Heart of Mary Roman Catholic Church visitation room, with visitation on Friday from 2-4 & 7-9. Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated on Saturday at 11 a.m. from Most Pure Heart of Mary Roman Catholic Church, Barnaby, with Father Bob McGuire officiating. Burial will follow in the family plot of the church cemetery.
At the request of the family donations to NB Heart & Stroke Foundation, or a memorial of ones choice would be appreciated.
