David E. Aldridge, 75, died November 25, 2013, at his residence in Millport, AL. Services are Wednesday at 11 a.m. at Dowdle Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Robert Huffman, the Rev. Ray Aldridge and the Rev. Matthew Fancher officiating. Burial will follow in Spring Hill Cemetery. Visitation is Tuesday from 6-8 p.m. at the funeral home. Mr. Aldridge was formerly employed with Ceco Metal Buildings as a welder. He was a member of Spring Hill Baptist Church. He loved to fish.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Avery Elbert and Ada Frances Moore Aldridge; son, David Bradley Aldridge; brothers, Roy, Raymond, James and Elmer Aldridge; and sister, Christine Lawrence.

Survivors include his wife, Wanda Moucha Aldridge of Millport, AL; daughter, Traci Aldridge of Columbus, MS; sisters, Katherine Butler of Fayette, AL, Gearldine (James) Elliott of Kennedy, AL; Opal (Jimmy) Knight of Fayette, AL and Earline (Kenneth) McAdams of Millport, AL; and brothers, Olen (Hazel) Aldridge of Aliceville, AL and Cois (Minnie) Aldridge of Kennedy, AL.

Pallbearers are Chester Aldridge, Ray Aldridge, Jerry Aldridge, Brent Aldridge, Bryan Aldridge, Scott Lawrence, Toby Lawrence, Dennis Elliott and Eric McAdams. Honorary pallbearers are Tony Parson, Bobby Foster, Leo Turner, Edwin Markham, Alfred Moucha, Banks Lawrence and the men of Springhill Baptist Church.
