Carol Winona (Johnson) Lagueux, 75, died at UMass Memorial Medical Center, University Campus, on Thursday, November 21, 2013. She leaves her husband, Gerald R. Lagueux, to whom she was married for 52 years. She also leaves three sons and their families, Richard C., Brian G., and Paul J. Lagueux.

Born in Worcester, Carol was the daughter of Winona G. (Bishop) and C. Walter Johnson. She was a graduate of the High School of Commerce (Class of 1957A), where she enjoyed the Ice Skating and Glee Clubs. Carol attended Worcester State College and Quinsigamond Community College. Mrs. Lagueux was a Cub Scout Den Mother for four years. She was an active member of All Saints Church where she served as an usher and was a member in the Adult Choir, Healing Ministry, Archives Group, Prayer Shawl Ministry, and Altar Guild. She was a member of Clement Chapter O.E.S., and Stella Chapter, O.E.S., Vasa Order of America, former John Erickson Lodge #25, Nordic Lodge #611, and DAR Colonel Timothy Bigelow Chapter. Her hobbies included needlework, knitting, cloth-doll making, embroidery, genealogy, and gardening.

Services were held at All Saints Church, 10 Irving Street, Worcester, Monday, Nov. 25, 2013. A calling hour was at 10 am followed by the funeral service at 11 am. Burial was in Hope Cemetery. Nordgren Memorial Chapel, 300 Lincoln Street, directed arrangements. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the All Saints Church, Choir Fund, 10 Irving St., Worcester MA 01609.
