FRANTISEK SVATEK

One by one the early pioneer settlers are answering to their last earthly roll call and obeying the summons to their Heavenly Home. Sunday morning at the home of his son, Frank Svatek aged 83 years closed his eyes on worldly scenes and went to his Eternal Home.
The deceased was born June 5, 1831 in Bohemia, coming to this country in 1865. He was married in 1858 to Mary Suhan. Five children, two sons, Emil and Joe and three daughters, Mrs. Mr. Hyek, Mrs. Die??er and Mrs. Neidl are left to mourn a kind father’s death.
The funeral took place Tuesday morning at 10 o’clock from St. Mary’s church, Rev. Kolar performing the last rites for the deceased member.
Mr. Svatek was a kind and loving father, a respected neighbor and true friend to all. His life just closed deserves the commendation “well done.” Sympathy of friends is extended to the bereaved family.
