Eleanor A. Ridner
June 29, 1930 – November 25, 2013

Thanksgiving Praises came early for our mother Eleanor A. Ridner when Jesus came for her on September 25th Monday at Magnum Care of Monroe. Now she will live for eternity. Our cup runneth over with joy, as she joined our dad (Clyde R. Ridner) who died on September 29, 2005 and our sister (Linda Kaye) who died on March 21, 1957. She will then have met her father Jesus and then numerous family members and friends for all of eternity!

Family and friends viewing will be Sunday from 12 to 8 p.m. with funeral services on Monday at the Rupp Funeral Home. Our sister Rev. Cynthia and Rev. Kim Semran, our brother in-law, will officiate. Burial of her earthly body will follow at RoselawnMemorial Park, LaSalle.

Mom was born on June 29, 1933 in Monroe she was the daughter of Alice and Chester Dines of Monroe.

Our mother became a licensed beautician in 1950. She would graduate from school later in life obtaining her diploma. She also worked for RockwoodLivingCenter for over 12 years. She served as a head deaconess at the MonroeChristianAllianceChurch for years and in her later years she worked along side her daughter at the Precious Sound Hearing Aides.

She loved singing the old blood songs with her daughters, and won awards for her written poems and short stories, she was a great cook and loved her family.

Surviving her until later when we join Jesus then her and dad and Linda for all eternity is three sons, Ralph (Valerie) and Jeffrey (Brenda) of Monroe and Brian (Kris) of Ida, two daughters, Lila (Steven) Schilling and Cynthia (Kim) Semran both of Monroe. She left 14 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren.

Our Thanksgiving praise is within our hearts as she left a legacy of Jesus the real reason for this holiday season.

Until then mom you are now within our Father's presence, and praying for us until we all meet again for all eternity. See you soon mom, we rejoice with you.
