Mr. Dorris was born in Tennessee Oct. 22, 1879. He was a retired employe of City Loan and Savings Corp. and lived in Lima 55 years.
His wife, Estella, died Dec. 24, 1961.
Mr. Dorris is survived by three daughters, Mrs. Dwight (Geraldine) Swaim of 1121 E. Second, Mrs. Gerald (Virginia) Stoddard of Sarasota, Fla., and mrs. Marlin (Lelah) Barnett of Manfield; three step-daughters, Mrs. Marvis Bever and Mrs. Ruth McConnell, both of 218 N. Metcalf, and Mrs. Mabel Skrock of Washington, D. C.; a brother, Richard Dorris of Nashville, Tenn.; two sisters, Mrs. Rosie McMurtrey and Mrs. Thomas Byrum, both of Goodlettsville, Tenn.; 10 grandchildren; five step-grandchildren, and 10 great-grandchildren.
He was a member of the Kingdom Hall Church.
Funeral services will be in Chiles and Sons-Laman Chapel at 2:30 p.m. Monday with Dr. A. J. O'Neill officiating.
Burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home.
