"JOSEPH S. LAUT, 82, of Somers Point died Thursday at Ocean Point Health Care Center. He was an area resident for 17 years. Mr. Laut belonged to St. Joseph's Roman Catholic Church of Somers Point and the Roman Catholic Alumni Association. Before retiring, he was a security trader with Hoppin-Watson of Philadelphia. He belonged to the Investment Trader Association of Philadelphia. Surviving are his wife Dorothy; one daughter, Nancy L. Cummings of South Hampton, Pa.; two sons, George H. of Garland, Tex. and Gerard B. of Philadelphia; also 11 grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. A Mass of Christian Burial and Communion will be celebrated 10 a.m. Monday at St. Joseph's Church. Friends may call at the church after 9 a.m. Burial will be in Holy Sepulchre Cemetery in Cheltenham , Pa. Arrangements are by the Middleton-Stroble Funeral Home of Somers Point."
