KERVILLE — Billy Dan "Danny" Abel Jr. died Sunday, Nov. 24, 2013.
Services will be at 10 a.m. Monday in Grimes Funeral Chapel with the Rev. Greg Peschel officiating. Burial will follow at Garden of Memories in Kerrville. Arrangements are by Grimes Funeral Chapels of Kerrville.
Mr. Abel was born Feb. 26, 1950, in Mangum, Okla., to Bill and Dorothy Abel. He married Carla Love on Sept. 24, 1970, in Clovis, N.M.
Survivors include his wife, Carla Abel; two sons, Dan Abel and Jud Abel; his siblings, Lynda Abel, Pam Hathaway, and David Abel and nine grandchildren.
The family suggest memorials be to Peterson Regional Medical Center in lieu of flowers.
