She married Ethan Rial Allen and they raised seven children: Richard, Joyce, Douglas, LaPreal, Marcile, Rial, and Rita.

She was preceded in death by all of her siblings, her husband Ethan, children: Richard, Marcile, and LaPreal; a grandson, two great-grandsons and two sons-in-law.

She is survived by sons: Douglas (Joie); Rial (Valerie); daughters: Joyce and Rita; 20 grandchildren; 43 great-grandchildren and 10 great great-grandchildren.
