Mrs. Esther V. Sherman, 65, 1211 W. 18th St., died at her home at 7:35 a.m. Tuesday after an extended illness. Mrs. Sherman, a resident of Muncie for 23 years, was a member of the Ladies Auxiliary of the VFW and attended the Glad Tidings Church.
Survivors include the husband, Earl; a stepson, Herbert Sherman of Rawlins, Wyo.; a sister, Mrs. Lela Gibson of Atlanta, Ga.; a brother, Jack Hankins of Frankfort, and four grandchildren.
Services will be held at 1:30 p.m. Friday at the Parson Mortuary with Rev. John T. Conaway officiating. Burial will be in Beech Grove Cemetery. Friends may call at the mortuary after 7:30 p.m. Wednesday.
