Aiken – Carl A. McGee, Sr., 74, husband of Mrs. Lou Ellen Willing McGee, died May 27, 1987.

Born in Saluda County, he was a son of the late F. P. and Ettie Thompson McGee.

He was a member of Aiken First Baptist Church, owner and operator of the Holley Tractor Company Inc. and co-owner of Ulmer Tractor Company in Ulmer. He was a charter member of the Aiken County Cattlemen’s Association and former director of the Carolina’s Farm Equipment Dealers Association. He was a member of the Aiken Soil Conservation and a former member of the Talatha Lions, the Knights of Pythias and Aiken Chamber of Commerce.

Surviving, in addition to his wife, are a son; a daughter; a brother; and two sisters and brothers-in-law.

Burial in Aiken Memorial Park.
