Final rites were held Tuesday morning at Green Grove Cemetery in Ashland for Mrs. Charles C. Wright of Marblehead, Mass. who died Saturday October 10th following a brief illness. Rev. James Henderson of Holderness and Washington, D.C. was officiating Clergyman. Friends attending from Plymouth include Mrs. George H. Bowles, Mrs. Blanche S. Smith, Selectman and Mrs. Harl Pease, Miss Caroline Mudgett, Mrs. Martha Shute, Mrs. Victor M. Fellows, Mrs. Flora A. Chase and Mr. and Mrs. J.E. Maynard.
Mrs. Wright was born in Plymouth July 20, 1873, daughter of Edgar A. and Marietta (Norris) Adams, one of six children. She graduated from Plymouth High School Class of 1891. She married on September 13, 1893 Charles Cheney Wright who died several years ago. Mr. Wright was former owner of the Plymouth Record and printing establishment, also Postmaster here for many years. He was secretary to Congressman Frank Currier. Survivors include one son, Edgar Cheney Wright of Salem, Mass., and grandson Tarleton Wright to whom many friends in this area extend sympathy in their bereavement.
