Funeral services were held at 9 a.m. Saturday at St. Mary's Catholic Church at Odanah for Edward Dashner 65 who died Tuesday at the Gogebic Hospital at Wakefield. Arrangements were made by Schafer Funeral Home of Ashland
Surviving are his wife, Agnes; seven sons, Arthur, Milwaukee; Walter Algonac,Mich; Alfred, Flint,Mich;Edwin, Washburn; Wilfred, Ashland; Robert, with the Us Army in New Cumberland, PA, and Burton, Orangedale, Calif; three daughters, Mrs. William Neveaux, Ashland; Mrs. Frank Gable, Halvird, SD, and Mrs. J.T. Nikala, Seattle, Wash; a brother, Lyle, Menominee Falls, Wis; a sister Mrs. Archie Carter, Aurora, Ill and 27 grandchildren.
