Barbara A. Buchanan, 90, of Lafayette, passed away on Nov. 26, 2013 at St. Mary's Healthcare in Lafayette.
She was born on June 12, 1923 in Frankfort. She was raised by her adopted parents, George and Mabel Wikel Wallace. She married Clyde C. Buchanan on May 11, 1946 in Battle Ground. He preceded her on Feb. 13, 1981. She was also preceded in death by 3 brothers; a sister; son-in-law, Michael Sargent; and 3 step grandchildren.
She is survived by her 3 children, Janice Alene (Robert) Byers, Claudia Mae Sargent and Clyde "Bud" Buchanan; 4 grandchildren; 9 great-grandchildren and 2 great-great-grandchildren.
She retired from Delphi High School after 30 years.
