"Charles L. Mayhew, 72, died at his home, 326 Avenue F, Monday night at 8:45 after an illness of 11 days. He was born in Ohio September 5, 1860, and has been a resident of this city for 30 years. His wife died March 27, 1931.
Mr. Mayhew is survived by one son, W. J. Mayhew at the home.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday afternoon at 2:30 at Clements Chapel. Noel T. Adams, minister of the First Christian Church will officiate. Burial will be made in Oakland Cemetery."
