Roszella A. Hutchinson, 56, of North Branch, passed away Friday (June 20, 2008) at McLaren Regional Hospital. She was born February 3, 1952, in Mich., the daughter of Vernon and Kathleen (Walker) Rappuhn. Roszella grew up in North Branch and attended North Branch Schools, graduating in 1970. On August 2, 1969, she married at the North Branch United Methodist Church. Roszella was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother who loved and enjoyed her family and grandchildren. She was a member of the Silverwood United Methodist Church, where she ministered with her husband, taught Sunday School Classes, and enjoyed working with the children. She also was a member of the United Methodist Women. Roszella liked to cross stitch, make cookies for the family and entertain the grandchildren.
Left to cherish her memory are her husband; 3 sons; mother, Kathleen Morrison; 2 sisters; 2 brothers; 4 grandchildren, all of North Branch; many nephews, nieces and cousins.
She was preceded in death by her father, Vernon; granddaughter, Mercedez; an infant brother.
Memorials may be made to the Children's Leukemia Foundation or the Silverwood United Methodist Church. Funeral services were held Monday (June 23, 2008) at the Country Christian Church. Rev. Roger Keur and Rev. Ronald Hutchinson officiated. Burial was in Westlawn Cemetery, North Branch. Arrangements entrusted to Blackburn Chapel-Martin Funeral Home, North Branch.
