J. Henry Hart, 60 years old of Delhi, member of the Delhi Town Council for 22 years and inspector for the Tensas Basin Levee Board for several years, died at 2 a.m. Friday at a Monroe Clinic. He had been ill with undulant fever and suffered complications of heart trouble.

Mr. Hart at one time live in Winnfield and was well known in this section.

The funeral services were held at Delhi at 2 p.m. Saturday at the family residence. The Rev. Mr. Holliday, pastor of the Delhi Methodist Church, officiated. Burial was in the Masonic Cemetery with rites at the grave.

Surviving relatives are the widow, Mrs. Eva Hart; two daughters, Mrs. W. H. Huckaby and Mrs. George Patterson, both of Monroe, and several brothers and sisters in or near Delhi.
