SOUTH BEND- Lynn N. Mead, 71, passed away on her birthday, November 18, 2013.
Born November 18, 1942, she was the daughter of the late Anthony and Marguerite (Babcock) Dietl. She was also preceded in death by two sons.
Left to cherish her memory are her husband of 44 years, Rondel Hugh Mead, Sr.; two daughters, Leoni (William) Lowery of Mishawaka and Tamara (David) Hans of Osceola; three step-daughters, Beverly (Jim) Small of Osceola, Rhonda (Jim) Szymanski of Niles and Diane Mead of NC; one step-son, Rondel (Kim) Hugh Mead, Jr.; and many loving grandchildren.
Lynn was a loving woman who lived each day to the fullest. She laughed often and tried to always have fun. She will be missed.
Visitation will be held from 4-6PM on Tuesday, November 26th at the McGann Hay, University Chapel, 2313 E. Edison Rd. She will be entombed at Highland Cemetery.
Memorial donations may be made to the St. Joseph Co. Humane Society.
