Donna was born January 20, 1924 to Basil and Esther (Gustafson) Taylor in West Des Moines. She married Phillip Cooper on January 30, 1943 in Texas. She worked for Northwestern Bell Telephone Company for over 40 years before retiring in 1987. Donna and Phil moved to Bella Vista, Arkansas in 1991, and returned to Des Moines in 2002.
Donna is survived by her husband, Phil of West Des Moines; two daughters, Pam Curtis (Gary) of West Des Moines and Kim Gedden (Steve) of Des Moines; five grandchildren and three great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents and one sister, Dorothy Winter.
