Jane Elizabeth was stunningly beautiful in face, in voice and most of all in heart and soul. She grew up on the Northside of Pittsburgh in a wonderful, talented family, and went on to have a wonderful family of her own. She was a president of the Emsworth Boro Council and Avonworth School Board, organist and CCD teacher for Sacred Heart Church. Many people knew and loved her. She had a great musical talent, played church organ and piano, and was an operatic soprano. When we sang in restaurants on St Patrick's Day the crowd would turn to her and want her to get on the stage. That embarrassed her, but her voice would stop anyone in amazement at its' beauty. She had adversity and sadness, but her love of family, community and church and faith and song went on. I think my writing here may sound cliche'd, but this is just because I do not have the literary talent to do her justice. The wonder of her was quite real.
Her children are Billy, Timmy, Nancy, Edward Michael and Cindy, all gorgeous, all talented.

Her obituary from the Pittsburgh Post Gazette March 1, 1999, page 26 names her family. She was past president of the Emsworth Boro council, member of the Avenworth school board, member of Sacred Heart Church were she was active as an organist, choir member church council member and CCD teacher.
Her funeral was at the Lawrence T. Miller funeral home at 460 Lincoln Ave, Bellevue. Mass of christian burial, Sacred Heart Church Emsworth on Tuesday 10 AM. On lieu of flowers donations could be made to the American Diabetes Association or the Emsworth Volunteer Fire Department
