Davis, W. Va. - Abraham Barnes Knotts, 67, died Wednesday at his home after a long illness.
Born in Lead Mine, he was a son of Georgianna (Helmick) Knotts Fike and the late John J. Knotts.
He was a member of Lead Mine Methodist Church, and Local 4112 United Mine Workers.
Also surviving are his widow, Jennie (Harper) Knotts; two sons, Gilbert Knotts and Ralph Knotts, both of Arlington, Va.; two daughters, Mrs. Opan Susan, Arlington, Va.; Mrs. Edith Bennett, Naples, Italy; three brothers, Albert Knotts, Davis, Harry Knotts, Detroit, Mich.; and Russell Knotts, Montrose; three sister, Mrs. Maggie Dent, Montrose; Mrs. Florence Lipscomb, Parsons; and Mrs. Dolly Myers, Davis; eight grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
The body is at the Spiggle-Hinkle Funeral Home where services will be conducted Sunday at 2 p. m. by Rev. Harry Atzenhoffer, pastor of Davis Methodist Church.
Burial will be in Davis Cemetery.
