newspaper clipping: POWER SYSTEM EXECUTIVE DIES Whittier, Dec 28 - J. L. Wray, 42, district sales manager for Southern California Edison Co., died yesterday following a heart attack.
The son of the late Judge and Mrs. Arthur G. Wray and brother of former City Judy Merton G. Wray, he was a Whittier College graduate and had taught and served in the Navy before joining the Edison Co. 10 years ago.
Wray was active in the Whittier Men's Club, was the first president of the Whittier Adopted Children's Society and past president of the Whittier Reserve Officers Association.
Memorial services will be conducted tomorrow at 2 p.m. in the First Baptist Church.
