Mr. Billy J. "Bill" Beckner, age 84 of Rockwood, Tennessee, passed away Tuesday, December 3, 2013 at the Roane Medical Center in Harriman. Mr. Beckner was a member of First Christian Church, Rockwood and a 50 year member of the Masonic Lodge #403 along with the American Legion Post #50 and the Lions Club.

He was born January 29, 1929 in Morristown, Tennessee to Floyd and Fannie Lucille Goin Beckner. Mr. Beckner is preceded in death by his parents; wife; 3 brothers, Charles, Clarence and Floyd Jr.; sister, Sarah Noe; great-grandson, Ryan Maddox Montgomery.

Survivors include Son Phil Beckner of Harriman, TN Daughter Patti and husband, Richard of Rockwood, TN 5 Grandchildren: April, Brandi, Christy, Dustin, Michael 7 Great-Grandchildren Sister Martha Collins of White Pine, TN Dog Marley Host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends

The family will have a Masonic Service on Thursday, December 5, 2013 at 11:00 AM in the Chapel of Evans Mortuary. Interment and burial will follow at 1:30 PM in the East Tennessee State Veterans Cemetery, Knoxville, Tennessee. Evans Mortuary is serving the family of Mr. Billy J. "Bill" Beckner.
