Billy Samuel Burger Sr. age 69 a resident of Cleveland passed away Monday at the family residence. He was the son of the late Robert and Pearlee Holt Burger and was also preceded in death by his daughter Angela Lane. He was self-employed owning B and B Carpet. He attended Springplace Church of God of Prophecy.
His survived by his wife Wanda Burger his sons Ray A. Burger and his wife Rhonda, Billy Samuel Burger Jr. all of Cleveland, grandchildren Jennifer Ehlers, Macenna Burger, Aaron Burger and Justin Burger, great grandchildren Aiden Ehlers Alaina Ehlers, Tally Burger, Gracie Burger and Mason Burger. He is also survived by his sisters Layvonne Leonard of Lafollette Tn., Mary Sue Hammontree, Thelma Briggs, Drusilla Fain, Emma Pritchett all of Cleveland and Martha Lawson of Charleston TN., his brother R.D. Burger of Chesterfield VA., several nieces and nephews.
A Remembrance of Life Service will be held at 12 noon Thursday at the Wildwood Ave. Chapel of the Jim Rush Funeral Homes with Rev. Ron E. Lesley officiating. Interment will follow in the Sunset Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends Wednesday evening from 5 until 8 at the funeral home.
