BERGER -- Doris Lorraine (Waters), 78, passed away October 28, 2002. Born October 14, 1924 in Oklahoma City to Gladys and Orion Waters. Graduated from Vinita High School, Class of 1942, shortly thereafter marrying her high school sweetheart. She was preceded in death by: her parents; husband of 58 years, David Morrow Berger; a sister, Letha M. Ecker; and a granddaughter, Raetta Wright. Doris is survived by: her 4 children, Sharon (Ray) Wright of Sand Springs, Thomas (Lina) Berger of Sierra Vista, AZ, Sandra (Bob) Ruffin of Tulsa, and Brian Berger of Tulsa; a plethora of grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins and a host of dear friends. She was a member of First Christian Church, Tulsa, where she was a charter member of the Homebuilders Class. Doris was always willing to lend a helping hand, from charity and church work, PTA, Scout Leader and Den Mother, to neighborhood "taxi" service. Her tender heart and radiant smile will be greatly missed by all. Mom, we miss you so much. Service will be 10 a.m., Friday, November 1, 2002, First Christian Church, located at 913 S. Boulder, Tulsa. Interment at Memorial Park Cemetery. Moore Memory Chapel.
