Obituary from Butte's Montana Standard 10/21/2005:

Cooper Curtis Andersen of Bigfork died Tuesday in Kalispell. He was lifted up by angel wings to be with his beloved Nonni. He will be dearly missed.
“Cooper you are our sunshine!” On May 8, 2002, his family was blessed with a beautiful spirit from above. Cooper’s life touched so many hearts. His bright smile and big blue eyes would light up a room. His laugh was contagious to those around him.

Cooper is survived by his mom and dad, Shelly and Shane Andersen; sister, Alice Vrana; grandparents, Curt Peterson, Tom and Holly Vidic and Robert Andersen; great-grandparents, Robert W. and Helen Andersen; aunts and uncles, Rhonda Petersen, Stacy and David Ballew, Rob and Miesha Andersen, Renee Keith Blom and Mike Blom, Darlene and Sandy Keith; cousins, Kyle and Taylor Ballew, Tianna, Roma and Brendan Andersen, Pat and Robbie Keith; special friends, Joe and Ellie Stimpson and family; Wyatt and his buddies at Animal Crackers Daycare in Bigfork; numerous other family and friends; and loving pet, Maggie.

Cooper was preceded in death by his grandmother, “Nonni” Diane Peterson; and Sam, his first true friend and pet.

Funeral services for Cooper will be at 3 p.m. Saturday in St. Patrick’s Episcopal Church in Ferndale, with the Revs. Carolyn Kuhr and Susan Merrin officiating. There will be no visitation.

The family suggests that any memorial contributions be sent to the Children’s Heart Foundation, 3006 S. Maryland Parkway Suite 430, Las Vegas, NV 89109. There will be a memorial service in Butte at a later date.

Johnson Mortuary and Crematory, Kalispell, is caring for Cooper’s family.
