Son of Benjamin & Margaret Snow.

Married Anstis R. Miles on Dec. 19, 1876.

The Fitchburg Sentinel reported the following on Feb. 26, 1883:

A cable telegram received by Rev. I. R. Wheelock on Saturday afternoon from Mrs. William P. Snow, then at Suez, Egypt, states that her husband died of a fever on the Red Sea....

Mr. and Mrs. Snow went to California in 1878 for the benefit of Mr. Snow's health and spent two years in that state. They started for New Zealand in April, 1880, and remained on the island till about the 5th of last January, when they expected to sail for Egypt and after visiting that country to take a European tour.

Snow was praised for his work among the Maori tribe of New Zealand. He edited a paper, printed in Maori, and was warmly interested in the moral elevation of these people.

He may have also published under the pseudonym Ruel Lennox.
