A letter from a daughter to her mother. By Joyce Cagle Glenn:

I am posting the memorial video my son Dalton and his girlfriend Jessica made for my mom I am so proud of them two young people... and I wanted all who knew my mom to enjoy it as well and if you didn’t know her I would like to introduce to you the most amazing woman I’ve ever known and had the honor of calling MOM and here’s a little background into this video that I know them two kids had to have gotten this from the HEAVENS... I’m not sure if it was GOD, JESUS OR MOM but there are too many coincidences for this to have not had heavenly influence.....here’s the background that means so much to me.....I kept feeling compelled to have my mom dressed in this blue dress that I had remembered her wearing before but only like once and I couldn’t remember if it was to church or out to dinner for one thing.... well when I saw the video 30 mins or so across town or so they were making the video btw and didn’t know the dress I picked until we received friends well in the video there’s a pic of my mom n dad dressed to go out and I remembered when I saw it that it was the last anniversary they had before they left for their Florida home for the winter in 2008 the year that my dad went into the hospital for a minor emergency room visit to have a boil lanced that ended up him needing surgery and in the end of the day left him paralyzed totally on the whole left side and needing ventilators and so on but you get the point the last anniversary they ever celebrated together when he was healthy and he passed November 6 2011.....but above all of the things that meant the most to me was the song my son picked not knowing that in my mind I was imaging my mom and dad finally back together after being married almost 60 years and both health in the presence of THE FATHER AND SON!!!! and dancing they loved to dance... I vision them dancing across the heavens with angels surrounding them and basking in the glow that I can’t even imagine from GODS PRESENCE!!!! And when we came home from the burial I even said the exact phrase and Dalton never said a word about a song.... So at the funeral home there computer was having an audio problem and I didn’t even know there was a song.....and I didn’t get to see the pictures they picked because I had my back to the screens receiving friends.... so I asked them to send it to me so I could see and also I always make the family a copy with laminated obits and the program thing they give at the funeral home as a keepsake of dad and am going to do for mom if I can ever get my head straight long enough to do......but please listen to the words of the song every single word describes my mom.....she loved her family and all people and above all the FATHER AND SON.....and HER LOVE AND YEARNING TO BE BACK WITH MY DAD WAS ALMOST UNBEARABLE TO WATCH her torture to want to stay with us and wanting to keep fighting to live 20 years past her expectancy from the lung specialist and our family doctor called her a miracle she went past being on a ventilator for almost a month with the specialists calling us in 3 times to say its impossible for her to survive with heart lung and kidneys shut down to coming right back stronger than she had been in years in June.....and Dr. Excar even said and shook his head when my brother was bringing her home ....boy yall were right she is a strong lady....amen to that!!!!! But she would dream of my dad and giggle at night no telling what she was dreaming lol and she said thousands of times she didn’t know how much longer she was going to make it and I’d say oh mom you got plenty of time your going to outlive us all your so strong..... and right before she started getting weaker and having multiple strokes sometimes more than 1 daily..... she told me Joyce I know I’m getting worse but I’ve prayed for all my kids and grandchildren and every night and you kids just be good and stay in the Christian way you were raised because when I get to heaven me and your daddy are saving yall a place..... so at the end of the song it says I will dance with you again some short time away and we will all be dancing with the angels....so here’s the most special post I’ve ever put I LOVE YOU MOM AND DAD and I know you two are up there happy and healthy with the LORD and dancing with the angels… btw I wasn’t too happy Dalton picked some picks when I had been working out in the yard and looked a hot mess but I’m thrilled cause hey I’m with my family in them and that’s the scary me you see when I’m sweaty and dirty and grassy lol
