Kathleen Charlton Sisson, 90, of Richmond, died Wednesday, June 27, 2001 following a brief illness.

She was predeceased by her husband, Francis Watson Sisson.

She had been a longtime faithful member of Ginter Park United Methodist Church, where she was active in the Lucie McDonald Circle and the Altar Guild. She had been a former employee of Thalhimer's department store.

She is survived by two daughters, Rebecca Brundrett and her husband, Donald of Apollo Beach, Florida, and Nancy Langford and her husband, Brent of Richmond; two grandchildren, Tracy Langford of Virginia Beach and Scott Langford of Richmond; two sisters, Lucy Sarver and Ruth Cromer of Christiansburg, Va.; and several nieces and nephews.

Her remains rest at the Bliley Funeral Home's Staples Mill Chapel, 8510 Staples Mill Road, where the family will receive friends 4:30 to 7:30 p.m. Friday. Funeral services will be held at Ginter Park United Methodist Church, 1010 West Laburnum Avenue, on Saturday at 11 a.m. Interment Westhampton Memorial Park.

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Ginter Park United Methodist Church Memorial Fund or to Bon Secours Hospice.
