Donald Paige was born January 4, 1913 in a log cabin on the family homestead in Lyman County, SD. He grew up and attended school in the Paige School in rural Lyman County
He served in the US Army during World War II serving in the European Theatre in the countries of Germany, France and England receiving his Honorable discharge on October 4, 1945.
He was baptized October 28, 1951 in the Methodist Church in Presho.
Donald was a lifetime member of the Presho American Legion and the Kennebec VFW.
He supported the churches and 4-H Clubs; was a silent person behind many community projects and contributed to many worthy causes throughout the United States.
Donald's greatest love was for his farming; he also enjoyed rodeos and playing cards.
He is survived by 14 nieces and nephews.
Preceded in death by his parents David and Della Paige, sisters Leola Moore, Edna Loddewig; brothers Gerald, Milford and Harold Paige three nephews; Jerry and Larry Paige and David Moore.
