COOKEVILLE — Funeral services for Roger Darrell Phillips, 53, of Cookeville, will be held at 2 p.m. on Sunday, Aug. 25, at Crest Lawn Funeral Home Cremation Center. Burial will follow in Brotherton Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6-9 p.m. today, Friday, Aug. 23, from noon until 9 p.m. on Saturday, Aug. 24, and from noon until time of services on Sunday at the funeral home.

He was born July 21, 1960, in Monterey to the late Delma Hazel (Murphy) and Ezra Phillips.
Roger was an employee at TTU for 34 years.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two brothers, Walter and Luther Phillips, and a sister, Wanda Tinch.
