Retired Farmer Had Lived in Madison County For 61 Years
Frank R. McKee, a resident of Madison county for 61 years, died Friday, March 3, at a nursing home here. He was 82 years of age.
Mr. McKee was a native of Crawfordsville, Iowa, where he was born Dec. 31, 1878, a son of Thomas and Anna Gormby McKee. He came to this county as a young man and engaged in farming during his active life.
He was married here April 6, 1904, to Cora Banks, who preceded him in death.
His church affiliation was with the Bethel United Presbyterian here.
He leaves three sons, Elmer and Harry McKee of Winterset and Cleve McKee of Tunga, Calif.; three granddaughters, three great grandchildren; and three brothers, Bert McKee of Winteset, Dean McKee of Shenandoah and John McKee of Winterset.
Funeral services were held Monday from the Richards Funeral home, conducted by the Rev. Robert A. Owens of Winterset. Burial was made in the Winterset cemetery.

three brothers, Bert and John McKee of Winterset and Dean McKee of Shenandoah.
