Agnes Marie Annen

Agnes (Brogan) Annen passed away peacefully on Thursday December 5, 2013.

We will miss Agnes's kind gentle presence, her friendly smile and devotion to her family and church. Agnes was a quiet soft spoken support to those who knew her.

Agnes Annen was born and raised in Antelope, OR on a sheep ranch along with her eight siblings. She graduated from the University of Portland nursing school and worked as an RN for many years.

She married Cletus (CJ) Annen in 1957, and they had five children: Theresa Terry of Gresham, Eileen Johnson of Salem, Lorraine Bock of Salem, Rita Annen of Seattle, and Henry Annen of Portland. She is the grandmother to nine grandchildren. She was a devoted participant in her children's lives and an active member of the St. Mary's Parish. She was preceded in death by her loving husband, CJ Annen.

A rosary was held on Wednesday December 11th with a memorial service the following day, Thursday December 12th all at St. Mary's Catholic Church. Burial was at Calvary Cemetery, Mt. Angel.

Arrangements are by Unger Funeral Chapel.
