She was born in Harrison, N.J., on May 2, 1916, a daughter of the late Charles M. and Ruth (Hewitt) Wuest.
Mrs. Mageehan was an art teacher for the Verona, N.J., School District until she retired and moved to Ridgefield, where she was a resident for nearly 40 years. She passed on her love of art and nature to all who knew her, family members said.
Mrs. Mageehan is survived by her sister, Dorothy Le Page, of Wilton; six nieces and nephews and their spouses: John and Eileen Le Page of Woodbury, Pat and Ray Peterson of Stamford, Charles and Kathy Le Page of New Milford, David and Shannon Le Page of New Milford, Maggie and R.D. Haskell of Medfield, Mass., and Dorothy and David Fitton of Westport; and by many great-nieces and great-nephews.
Services will be private. Memorial donations may be made to the National Wildlife Federation, 11100 Wildlife Center Drive, Reston, VA 20190.
