Leota Bernice VanDine Morrison, 53, wife of the late Howard Morrison, died suddenly Saturday morning at 11:30 at her home in Renrock, following a cerebral hemorrhage. She was sitting in her rocking chair resting from her morning work when death occurred.
Mrs. Morrison, a life long resident of Noble county, was a devoted member of the Renrock Methodist church and a member of the W.S.C.S. and the Renrock grange.
Besides her husband, a son Isaac, and twin daughters, who died in infancy, preceded her in death. Surviving are three children, Mrs. Robert Boyd, of Zanesville, and Nadine and Boyd Morrison, of the home; her father, Dyton VanDine; two sisters, Mrs. Louella Lyon of Young Hickory and Mrs. Minnie Hill of Cambridge; one half-sister, Cora Bible of Canal Winchester; and one grandchild, Jackie Miles Boyd, of Zanesville.
Funeral services were held at the Renrock Methodist church Monday afternoon with Rev. Walter H. Brown officiating. Burial was made in the Renrock church cemetery with the Bundy funeral home of Cambridge in charge of arrangements.
