CUMBERLAND – Lewis Burton Vandine, 86, died Friday at 7:45 a.m. at the Morrison home in Renrock where he had resided for the past eight years.
Surviving are two daughters, Mrs. Minnie Hill of Cambridge, and Mrs. Louella Lyon of near Cumberland; one foster daughter, Mrs. Cora Bible of West Lafayette, and one sister, Mrs. Mary Sutherland of Sarahsville, His wife preceded him in death in March 1938, and a daughter died Aug. 16, 1947.
The body was taken to the Tom funeral home in Cumberland and will be returned to the Morrison home at Renrock this afternoon.
Funeral services will be conducted Sunday afternoon at 2 o'clock in the Renrock Methodist church in charge of Rev. Walter Brown of Caldwell, and Rev. George Willyard of the Renrock church. Burial will be made in the church cemetery by the Tom funeral home.
