Allschwang, Ruth (Nee Galinski) Passed away on Sunday, December 1, 2013, at the age of 97 years. Beloved wife of the late John. Loving mother of David (Elsa). Cherished grandmother of Marielle. Dear aunt of Jutta (Dr. Norbert) Scholz of Krefeld, Germany. Cousin of Hugo Galinski and Gabi (Andreas) Hoffmann of Berlin, Germany. Further survived by other relatives and friends. Preceded in death by her parents Abraham and Margarete (nee Stein) and brother Klaus Galinski. Ruth always had a love for the arts. She enjoyed writing and reading literature and going to the symphony and the theatre. She was also a world traveler and a lifelong student. Ruth was an active member of the Osher Lifelong Learning Institute at UW-Milwaukee. Visitation on Thursday, Dec. 5 at the FUNERAL HOME from 2PM until time of Funeral Service at 4PM. Burial will take place at Wood National Cemetery in Milwaukee. In lieu of flowers, memorials in Ruth's name are greatly appreciated to the charity of your choice .
