Funeral arrangements are under the direction of Green Country Funeral Home of Tahlequah. Born Jan. 19, 1933, in Canadian, she was the daughter of Fred and Peggy Burwell. She married Millard Lee Arterberry in 1948 and had three children. As a 1963 graduate of NSU with a teaching degree, she spent most of her life teaching. She was also a licensed practical nurse.
