Sybil Jewell Boyett was the daughter of General Washington Boyett and Myrtle
Augusta Warren.

Sybil married Asahel Dewitt Ives, son of Frederick Albert Ives and Lucy Caroline Perkins, in 1928 in Escambia County, Florida. The couple had one child, Myrtle Martha Ives.

Sybil married Terry Harris Kennedy in 1936 in Escambia County, Florida. Sybil and Terry were married until her death. The couple had no children together.

"MRS. SYBIL JEWEL KENNEDY

Mrs. Sybil Jewel Kennedy, 32, died Wednesday at the Pensacola hospital after an illness of a few months. She is survived by her husband, T. H. Kennedy; one daughter, Miss Myrtle Ives; three sisters, Mrs. C. E. Rust, Mrs. G. T. Ledyard and Mrs. H. D. Ford, all of this city; two brothers, Van W. Boyett of this city and Clyde E. Boyett of U. S. Navy.
Pallbearers will be Clyde Warren, Charles Howse, George Howse, Ernest Pape, James Boyette, and W. C. Bowman.
Funeral services will be held from the chapel of Waters & Hibbert at 3 p.m. Friday with Brother Paul Simon officiating. Burial will be in Union Hill cemetery."
