The Derrick:
Terry Lee Ace, 66, of 537 Third St., Franklin, died at 9:16 a.m. Sunday, Feb. 14, 2010, in the emergency room at UPMC Northwest in Seneca. Born in Franklin on Jan. 23, 1944, he was a son of Nelson and Annabelle McCartney Ace.

He attended Franklin schools, worked as a security guard at Joy Mining Machinery for 45 years, retiring from there. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, nice weather, listening to the radio, watching TV and spending time with his family, especially his grandson.

He married Mary Marsh, and she died on Jan. 15, 1984.

He is survived by a son, Terry M. Ace and wife Cynthia of Franklin; a grandson, Terry M. Ace Jr. of Franklin; a brother, James Wolf and wife Nancy of Seneca; a brother-in-law, Sam Roser of Seneca; and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death his parents, his wife, and a sister, Linda Roser.

Interment will be made in the Franklin Cemetery.
