"Mr. James Samuel Wright Jr., 61, of 1601 Trogdon St., died Tuesday, March 14, 2000, at Moses Cone Hospital.
A memorial service will be held for Mr. Wright at 2 p.m. Saturday, March 18, 2000, at Jubilee Holiness Church. Interment will follow in Guilford Memorial Park.
James Samuel Wright Jr. was born in Greensboro, April 17, 1938, to the late James and Lucille Bolton Wright. Mr. Wright was a self-employed sheet metal worker and a member of Jubilee Holiness Church.
Survivors include his wife of 36 years, Betty Bullard Wright of the home; three children, Manfred Wayne Wright, Kimberly Ann Wright, Timothy Quinn Wright and wife, Jennifer, all of Greensboro; two brothers, Jerry Wayne Wright and Larry Eugene Wright; two sisters, Ann Pickard and Wanda Godwin; and three grandchildren, Leslie Nicole Wright, Timothy James Wright and Matthew Wayne Wright, all of Greensboro.
A brother, Michael Lee Wright; and a sister, Bobbie Jean Perdue, preceded Mr. Wright in death.
The family will receive friends from 7 to 9 p.m. Friday, March 17, 2000, at Jubilee Holiness Church, McCuiston Road."
